In its 25th-anniversary exhibition series ‘Jewellery Art on the Tide of Time’, the Galerie Slavik is presenting two artists whose jewellery is completely different – but equally impressive: Anna Heindl and Stefano Marchetti.

Anna Heindl, whose work can also be admired in a retrospective at the Vienna MAK from 6 September, is one of most important figures on the Viennese jewellery scene. In her present work she explores aspects of the theme ‘Strom’ (current, flow, electricity …): linkage, movement, communication, networks, storage, transformation. Her bangle in cool stainless steel with colourful gold-mounted precious stones is a veritable power station of art jewellery.

The international jewellery scene would simply not be the same without the Italian artist Stefano Marchetti. Winner of the 2016 Herbert Hoffmann Prize, he implements bold new ideas with modern techniques but as a goldsmith he still remains true to the high demands of his noble craft. Marchetti’s jewellery is sculpture – and every new work of his is a refreshing source of surprise and delight.

We will be glad to have aroused your interest and look forward to your visit!

With warmest greetings
