Jewellery – elixir of life

Anticipation fills us with the promising title of our upcoming exhibition. ELIXIR JEWELLERY promises exciting new works by Anna Heindl and Gigi Mariani.The successful jewellery artist Anna Heindl, who is well-known also outsied of Austria’s borders, has dealt with the complex topic of “planet earth”. The artist uses water, wind, coastal formations, natural resources as a starting point for her fantastic jewellery creations such as the necklaces “Wind” and “Water”. Her meaningful, figurative earrings “EYES – Eyes for the Ears”, also pendants, are meant to protect the wearer like a talisman.

In the fascinating works of the Italian jewellery artist Gigi Mariani, archaic gold -smithing art and contemporary design language are combined. His wonderfully architecturally-looking work such as the bracelet “Joint dance” made of gold and silver covered with Niello creates a joie de vivre. His ring creations of gold and Niello are breath-taking!
