Biographie

  • 1957 born into a familiy of painter and sculptors in Munich, Germany
  • 1977-1979 apprenticeship carpenter in Munich
  • 1979-1981 works in a known workshop for copies of period furniture in Paris
  • 1981 co foundation of xylos, contemporary furniture and interior design
  • 1981-2009 contemporary furniture and interior design, new structures on surfaces for imitation of metalls and stones for Cartier a.o., congress center in Stuttgart in Germany, city hall of Paris
  • clients: Cartier, the pharmaceutic company Braun Melsungen, conference center Stuttgart, city hall, Paris, France and private collectors
  • exibitions and fairs: Paris, Munich, Milan, Geneva, Basel, Chicago, Moscow
  • personal creations: big walls of wood inlay work made of colored tropical wood, small objects in the technique of inlay work like cases for artistic books, for jewellery
